Kama sexual wellness startup

Kama offers Mindful Sex practices for all bodies, regardless of age, sexuality, or gender. Our mission is to improve how you experience love, sex, and intimacy. I have been tasked to translate the mission and vision of the brand into app designs and UX. From the first moment user downloads the app to the way loyal user engages with intimate practices, the experience must feel unbroken and continious. I have conducted workshops as well as user research to dive deeper into our users in order to undersand what practices and what product we should be building for them.

Building onboarding experience

Lots of work went into building a unique onboarding experience for our users, with the primary goal of welcoming new joiners by creating 'aha' moment as well as adding spark and delight to the experience. The goal of the onboarding was to demonstrate Kama's value, as well as showing them the content they want to see without overburdening new users with lots of questions or taps to click.

Increasing retention patterns

As Kama grows and attracts more users, we needed to shift our focus on creating strong retention patterns for our loyal Kamaleons, so that they can truly become better lovers through regular practices and sex education. This project required analysis of mixpanel data, user insights as well as lots of workshops to find the perfect mix of ingredients to make Kama sticky and useful over the longer period of time not just a one-time experience.
